Bahia Honda

Yesterday, Wednesday, we went back to Key West, where our first stop was at the Southernmost Point in the US. Since we visited the Easternmost Point last fall (West Quoddy Head ME), this was a "must do". Guess we'll have to schedule visits now to the Northernmost and Westernmost points.

We later took the Key West trolley tour, which was OK but not worth $30 per person. We've enjoyed Key West, but agree that we've spent enough time here to last us for a few years, at least.

We spent today at Bahia (pronounced "bay-a") Honda State Park. After we explored the campgrounds, we decided we'd like to camp here another year. We did a bit of biking and Lynn took the kayak out. The view from the the old US 1 bridge was beautiful.

Several bright blue Portuguese Man O' War jellyfish washed into the swimming area and we were told that turtles had been seen feasting on them yesterday.
