Today, we left Blacksburg for a 3-pronged, 3-week trip west. We’re heading first to Denver to spend a few days with our son Brian and DIL Finn, then to Iowa for Forrest’s high school reunion, and finally to an Aliner rally in Amana, IA.
We pulled away from home at 10 AM and drove through some brief heavy rain in WV. By 6:30, we arrived at a Passport America campground in Corydon IN – a lovely old town, and the first capital of the state. We walked around the town square and had some ice cream. Lynn took a brief shower in the camper (cold water, because the pilot on the water heater had gone out!) Shower, though, works very well. We were in bed by 10:00.
